Teen Advisory Council

In 2013-14, K is for Kids’ top student leaders revived the original Teen Advisory Team under the new name DOSA-Directorate of Student Agenda. DOSA governs the mission and activities of all high school volunteers. 

Each year one to two students from schools across Collier County are nominated by teachers and/or former council members.  If approved, they will begin meetings in the summer prior to the next school. DOSA members serve as the event co-chairs of the annual K is for Kids “From the Heart” Teen Fashion Show, the only Naples charity event organized by students.

DOSA members also serve as presidents of the K is for Kids Club at their high school (called Operation:Outreach).

Throughout the school year and particularly during the K is for Kids Bring a Book, Bring a Friend for Children’s Literacy Month, DOSA directs other student leaders who serve as fun’raising chairs and team leaders as they host a variety of family fun activities promoting literacy and leadership.
