Operation: Outreach – O2

The first “Ladder for Leaders” program – created by students for students!

Our student leaders never cease to amaze us – in 2013-14 they launched Operation: Outreach with the mission to create a “Ladder for Leaders” for high school students with the motto “Climb Higher. Help Others.” This youth leadership program guides teens in business administration and communication. Students apply their skills outside of the classroom in project management focusing on literacy initiatives (readers and leaders program), from concept proposal through execution to completion utilizing entrepreneurial principles.  Each member has the opportunity to take on leadership roles, earn community service hours, boost resumes and build portfolios. As student leaders near graduation, they give a helping hand to the teens who want to take the lead the next year.
