Kids Celebrate Reading Book Fair: Photos of Kids, Teens, Authors, Books & More!

Authors and librarians joined 39 students from across Collier County hosting K is for Kids’ annual “Kids Celebrate Reading” Book Fair.

The event was held Barnes & Noble Booksellers at the Waterside Shops in Naples on Sept. 26th. Seven guest children’s book authors appeared to meet the children.

Dozens of school librarians also participated in the fun while having a bit themselves:  Coinciding with the event, media specialists enjoyed their annual “Shopping Spree” with monies donated by the foundation: Media specialists got to select new books for their reading incentive programs for children through K is for Kids’ Rising Readers program plus books to boost inventories in their school libraries via the foundation’s Friends of the School Library program.

This event was made possible by the generous grant given by the Richard M. Schulze Family Foundation and the Clawson family of Naples.
