Eager-To-Read Students Ready to Turn Pages of New Books

The youngest students at Lely Elementary School will have more books on their prekindergarten classroom shelves next year thanks to Friends of the School Library, a program offered by K is for Kids® that helps Collier County schools stock more books for their students.   The program’s goal:  Help all children have a ‘new’ book to take home every day!

K is for Kids® gives books to children of all ages, from toddlers to teens.

Here Media Specialist Kristi Humberger and a few of her

youngest students happily greet their ‘new arrivals.’

Lely Elementary School has a prekindergarten program

where the children enjoy the books of their teacher’s classroom library.
