“Power of the Word” Art Contest for Middle School Students in Collier County

Don’t miss this exciting opportunity to illustrate the power of communication! Contest is open to all middle school students in Collier County. Deadline for entry is March 18th.

Summer art classes at The vonLiebig Art Center for Best of Show as well as Earth and Fire gift certificates are prizes being given in the K is for Kids Foundation’s “Power of the Word” middle school art contest underway through March 18. The contest is open to all Collier County sixth-, seventh- and eighth-graders, who will be asked to illustrate the effects a word, phrase or poem can have on their world.

The Power of the Word art contest is open to all middle school students in Collier County. Submissions must be received in Linda Cummings’ office at the M.L. King Administrative Center no later than noon,on Friday, March 18.
Twenty-six finalists will be featured in an exhibit at the Collier County Sheriff’s records department gallery. Click here for a complete list contest guidelines.
