PLUS the first 80 guests will receive a complimentary book by author Loretta Neff!
Event co-chair Daylin Baez, a senior student at Lorenzo Walker Technical High School said, “Nothing makes me happier than seeing a kid enjoying a good book and recommending it to a friend and another, and another. Come support our young readers and future leaders. Don’t forget to bring a book and bring a friend to our event!”
Bree Gelin and Sara Saintil are the other event co-chairs. Both are students from Lely High School.
Young participants will get to meet guest authors and enjoy an afternoon filled with free fun family activities! The book fair is a teen-hosted event that promotes K is for Kids’ readers and leaders program.

INTERACTIVE STORY TIME
During the interactive story time of Tame Your Manners, children learn rules for regal behavior.
While on the African Safari expedition, children will enjoy a sing-along to The Lion Sleeps Tonight with the Royal Safari Queen. Children also learn to, “Stand Tall Like a Giraffe and Greet with Confidence”, and “Dance as Gracefully as a Gazelle” to Pharrell William’s song “Happy.”
The book is also chock-full of reference material and emphasizes over twenty different core values including compassion, confidence, gratitude, humility, integrity, knowledge, loyalty, obedience, patience, respect, responsibility, and understanding.
