Dr. Gene Landrum is a businessman turned educator, author and motivational speaker and he has pledged to be one of K is for Kids featured speakers this year.
When Karen Clawson heard Dr. Gene Landrum’s interview on Jenny Craig’s “Live Your Power Hour,” she felt compelled to contact him. Having just been been on Jenny’s show herself, Karen had mentioned that one of her heroines growing up was Joan of Arc. Upon hearing that Gene wrote about Joan in his new “Warriors Who Win” book, she couldn’t wait to hear more. The two soon met for coffee at Grain de Cafe, a favorite meeting place for literary minds to discuss Landrum’s book, and of course, the power of Joan of Arc. Landrum also told Karen about another strong “warrior” in the book, Catherine the Great.
In addition to “Warriors Who Win” Dr. Landrum has penned 18 other books, but most people still remember him for another character, one that he invented — Chuck E. Cheese.
